Because many students in my current school district celebrate holidays other than Christmas, I will not add any new ornaments to this page.

The ornaments on this page were all made by my students in Texas where Christmas was still an exciting tradition for all students.

Tips

* I demonstrate how to make an ornament before placing the materials in a center or work area. As students complete their work, they are allowed to make ornaments.

* Each student has a brown paper lunch bag, labeled with their name, in which to keep their ornament projects and pieces.

* I use the hot glue gun, not my students. When the glue gun is plugged in, it is in a place that is off limits to students or in a place that students can't reach.

* Most of the ornaments have ornament hooks hot-glued on back.

* Ornaments placed in gift sacks, made from decorated lunch bags, make great presents for the students to give their parents.
